About Edward and Ida's

Edward and Ida’s elevates traditional British pub standards across a dual-level heritage space in Northbridge. Upstairs and out in the leafy beer garden, the kitchen turns out curried scotch eggs with pickled walnut aioli, Patagonian toothfish burgers, and rich beef and Guinness pies baked with a marrow funnel. Sundays bring pre-ordered sharing platters piled with slow-smoked meats, beef-fat Yorkshire puddings, and lashings of Guinness gravy. Down below, bartenders in the vintage bottle-lined cellar mix bespoke cocktails dialed in to your taste.

  • Beef and Guinness Pie: Flaky crusts arrive with a bone marrow funnel for pouring juices straight into the Guinness-braised filling.
  • Sunday Roast Platters: Pre-ordered weekend boards feature slow-smoked brisket, house-made beef-fat Yorkshire puddings, and Guinness gravy.
  • Basement Cocktail Bar: An intimate subterranean hideaway surrounded by vintage bottles, serving custom cocktails tailored to your palate.
