About Mimmo’s Gourmet Gelato

Tucked at the far end of a Guildford carpark, Mimmo’s turns out authentic Italian gelato artigianale that easily ruins the standard scoop. Unassuming spot, but step inside and the counter does the talking. Dense, intensely churned scoops—the Amarena cherry hits deep, while the Cassata Siciliana delivers straight-up tradition. regulars know to bypass the shakes and order cups or cones straight. Cooler days call for their thick Italian hot chocolate. Or skip ahead to the dessert fridge and walk away with a tray of tiramisu.

    The gelato is simply exquisite, coffee is delicious and with such a loving vibe it's just a wonderful place. We took our two young daughters with our newborn son (we've become one of those take-over-the-area families) and the owners were so supportive and friendly. Utter joy for all.
