About 1934 Trattoria

Set inside the Western Australia Italian Club, 1934 Trattoria delivers unpretentious regional Italian cooking and hearty seafood feasts. Subterranean setting—retro wood paneling, billiard tables nearby, zero pretence. Tables regularly fill for the crab spaghettini, crisp fritto misto, and rich cacciucco di pesce piled with tiger prawns and clams. Service moves with genuine old-school warmth, with the floor manager and chef frequently checking in table-by-table. The kitchen sends out complimentary savoury dough puffs to start, before plates arrive with serious portions and proper al dente bite.
