Set among the tall timber of the Perth Hills, this historic tavern delivers hearty country comfort after a bushwalk or scenic weekend drive. Known simply as "The Parky," the restored heritage building balances sprawling beer garden grounds with multiple crackling wood fireplaces across the dining rooms. Outside, long timber tables flank an open sand playground that keeps kids occupied while parents share pints and brisket tacos. Inside, the kitchen sends out generous plates of eggplant parma, tender lamb shanks, and hot mulled wine when wet weather rolls through the valley.
