Set inside a century-old converted cottage, Little Fire serves unhurried comfort on George Street. Snag a table under the patio heaters or settle into the cozy rooms indoors—nobody rushes you out the door. The kitchen turns out shareable corn ribs, handmade pasta, and crispy pork dumplings alongside cold cocktails. Regulars keep an eye out for Latte, the resident cat, before finishing off warm cinnamon doughnuts dipped in caramel sauce.

    I was a little apprehensive sitting outside but it was without a doubt the best option given the toasty warm heaters, such a cosy outlook.

    It’s one of the few places that accomodate for coeliacs so well and I’ve never had an issue eating here. Between the waitstaff and kitchen there is a really high level of service and care!
