About Coogee Common

A restored stone pub wrapped in a working potager—Coogee Common turns morning harvests into honest, wood-fired coastal dining. No stiff table linens or banquet formalities. Perth regulars know to grab a sunny courtyard table and start with warm wood-fired bread slathered in house-churned butter and garden ash salt. Plates hit the table paced for an unhurried graze—charred chicken, handmade gnocchi, and produce picked steps away. Wandering through the garden beds between courses is practically part of the meal.

  • Direct Garden Harvests: Chefs design daily shared plates around produce harvested straight from the surrounding two-acre kitchen gardens.
  • Heritage Architecture: Dine inside a sensitively preserved stone building or out on the sunny courtyard tables overlooking vegetable beds.
  • Wood-Fired & House-Crafted: The kitchen anchors dishes around an open wood fire, alongside house-churned butter, raw comb honey, and estate preserves.
