About Tompkins

Perched above the Swan River, this community sports club pairs sweeping water views with unpretentious pub fare and sprawling green fields. Set back along Canning Highway, the grounds offer room to breathe—rugby pitches, cricket matches, and a dedicated playground right outside. An annual $20 social membership unlocks the bar and dining room on the spot, easily offset by wallet-friendly pints and generous portions. Parents settle in while little ones burn off energy on the turf. Inside, sports fans settle over footy telecasts and house brews like the Pally Pale Ale, alongside plates of wagyu burgers and garlic prawn steaks.

  • Parkland & River Views: Bordering vast sports pitches and an outdoor playground, overlooking the river and city skyline.
  • Annual Social Club Access: Dining and bar access requires an annual $20 social membership sign-up, offset by value-driven plates.
  • Private Milestone Events: Dedicated spaces like the River Room handle milestone family birthdays and private gatherings with ample on-site parking.
