Riwayat cooks uncompromising Pakistani comfort food in Belmont, anchored by fiery regional karahis and tandoor flatbreads the size of dinner plates. Desi food devotees track down the kitchen for its rich Butt mutton karahi and Karachi-style dum biryani made with hand-slaughtered chicken. Tables fill up quickly with large family gatherings digging into tender reshmi kebabs and buttery naans speckled with sesame. Dedicated rear parking eases the stopover right off the road. The meal finishes over cups of hot spiced chai.
