About Kishi

Tucked into Kalamunda, this snug izakaya channels the transportive energy of a Tokyo side alley across barely fifteen seats. Diners line up along Haynes Street before service starts, BYO drinks in hand, waiting for a spot at the booths or bar. The kitchen turns out hefty bento boxes stacked with crisp tempura, pristine sliced sashimi, and grandmother-recipe chicken karaage alongside pan-seared gyoza. Dinner winds down over scoops of tart yuzu sorbet.

  • Walk-In Only Seating: The intimate room seats roughly 15 guests on a strictly first-come, first-served basis, drawing lines outside before opening.
  • Substantial Bento Boxes: Generous multi-compartment boxes center on crisp tempura, fresh sashimi, and family-recipe karaage.
  • BYO Drinks Welcome: Guests can bring their own preferred beverages to accompany dinner in the unlicensed space.

  • First-Come Walk-In Seating Model

An intimate 15-seat floor plan operates exclusively on a walk-in queue, welcoming early arrivals without advance booking barriers.

It seats approximately 15 people with booth & bar seating. It is walk-in only & does get busy so I recommend you arrive early.
