Compare a Cottesloe room with a Perth or Fremantle base by the activities you will do most often. A beautiful beach location is less useful if every day starts with a long transfer.

Is Cottesloe a good place to stay for both beach time and Perth sightseeing?
I would like the coast nearby but still expect to visit the city and Fremantle.
